Here or there, you'll always be the nan who let me sleep in your bed even when I should've been too old to, you let me mess up your kitchen trying and failing to melt chocolate or make jelly. You didn't moan when I nabbed all the vowels from your rubbing letters, or ran from the front door to the back gate and through again. I remember you laughing and cheering with me when Birmingham city got promoted, the ice cream tubs u kept your mountain of pens in and trying on all the shoes u kept in the chest in your bedroom whilst prancing in front of your mirrors. As I got older things weren't as easy as they should've been and I'm sorry for that, but I have so many fond memories of you, you'll always live in my heart and mind... I love you nan. xxx
